Custom One Section Fishing Rod Lrf-Twitcher Light Max 8gr
“LRF-TWITCHER” is a unique handmade rod designed for the specificities and needs of Light Rock Fishing (LRF) in Greek waters. For the first time in our country, the Nerd Fishing workshop in collaboration with the well-known fisherman and fishing columnist Giorgos Tyrikos presents a specialized tool full of innovations from Greek creators for the Greek lover of technical fishing. “LRF-TWITCHER” has three specific goals. First a very accurate long shot. Second, the absolute control of all those artificials that "come alive" with twitching - that is, with the presentation that is proven to be the favorite of the most important fish of the Greek LRF: sargos, melanuri, sea bass. Third, the combination of sensitivity in passing commands and receiving stimuli with the power to nail and manage even large catches. This rod has been in testing for about a year and a half. After repeated changes in the blanks and the setup, we came up with a proposal that is completely innovative – something that is not widely available on the market. The “LRF-TWITCHER” consists of a monofilament blank with a length of 1.69m which is combined with a very short butt and reminds the setup of a Fly Fishing rod or some specialized Aji rod. Its excellent weighting, especially with the proper mechanisms, makes using and shooting with one hand a new experience. The components that frame this unique body are Fuji K-series stainless guides with Alconite ring and Tangle Free technology, Fuji IPS mechanism base and the best quality EVA foam grips. The very short butt (6cm) is purely supportive since the rod can fish without it if the user wishes. The decoration of the reed is modest despite its intense color character which makes it unique. The “LRF-TWITCHER” has been based on endless hours of fishing on the Greek coastline and has incorporated all the elements one needs to enjoy efficient, finesse LRF fishing. Whether one is fishing in a shallow area where accuracy in the shot is important to get close to certain structures, where precise navigation of the lure is absolutely necessary to avoid entanglements, or one is fishing in "stairs" where shallow water meets steep depths, from the mouth of the port or even by boat or canoe. Twitcher will throw our artifact away, where we want it and animate it properly, instantly transmitting our every command to it. Hooking is done instantly and the rod can handle large carp, sea bass and fighting tench with great comfort. “LRF-TWITCHER” is a handmade unique tool for relaxing, efficient and extremely accurate and technical fishing. Any artificial that comes to life with "hits" whether a small jerkbait, a minnow, a micro-wtd on the surface you will see it move like never before and you will see that not only the shots and the commands you can give but also how the things you can to feel with this rod in your hands from the other end of the rigging, is incomparable to anything you have experienced to date. This is helped by the general handling of the rod with one hand and the particularly short and one-piece trunk that offers both the best possible transmission of information and constant contact with our lure. It is ideally set with 500-1500 mechanisms, weight 170-200g and thread PE0.1-PE0.4. See in the videos of the link how in the hands of Giorgos Tyrikos Ergas and Giorgos Kalaganis, the Twitcher is transformed into an incredible technical tool for amazing captures of very large sardines, large sea bass and bluegills. As the sea and the fish are the judge of any gear, we let the pictures speak louder than words. We are proud of a truly special rod that was envisioned and realized in our country. ATTENTION: The rod in the videos and most of the photos is set up based on George's or the customer's personal choice of materials. The commercial model may differ in appearance in some respects, but not at all in terms of build quality and function. The rod is available upon request in upgraded versions with carbon handle or titanium guides. See the photo gallery below and get ideas for your own “LRF-TWITCHER” !
